Central location, friendliness and attitude of staff

Some of the infrastructure is a bit creaky for a 4-star hotel, particularly the lift, and the aircon in our room was noisy, but thankfully it was working. I mean not the aircon pump and fan which were near silent, but there was something wrong with the thermostat and control unit, which kept audibly clicking on and off very frequently, switching the cold air on and off literally every 5 seconds. P

very hard beds, air conditioning was intermittent throughout the rooms, fortunately the hotel staff were very accomodating by switching rooms.

The people working the reception were very nice and spoke very good English.

On your website it offered shuttle service to the airport, but when I got to the hotel, there was a sign saying you had to book 24 hours in advance. Since I was only staying one night, passing through, the shuttle wasn't available because it was already booked up. Ended up spending 35 euros for a cab.

Lack of bar facilities

nearness to all the major sightseeing a\ttractions .staff very helpful and friendly. daily cleaning of room very good.

room very badly in need of redecoration.stains on ceiling curtains very dirty from cigarette smoke even though this was a non skoking room.if these problems are sorted would state this hotel as excellent.until this time would not recommend to friends

The staff were very nice and the room was all that was promised. The room was large and they provided a baby cot that was nicely made up. The bathroom was newly renovated. Loved the lobby but the best part was definitely the location -- very central to all sites in Old Madrid and about a 15-20 minute walk to the Prado and other sites in Bourbon Madrid.

I didn't like the bed -- it was hard as a rock. The pillow was too flat. And the hallways looked bleak and worn (in need of renovation). Other than that, I thought the place was great.
